SMT/AI/Thru-Hole Assembly

Surface mount technology (SMT), Auto Insert (AI) and thru-hole (TH) assembly processes are used to help streamline production and deliver consistent high yields with quick turnarounds. Auto insert machine is a sophisticated piece of equipment that automates the insertion of electronic components into printed circuit boards (PCBs). Wave solder, selective soldering machines, Dip soldering machine and traditional hand soldering are used, depending on the needs of the project to adhere to industry standards and requirements. Boards requiring thru-hole components utilize selective soldering machines, dip soldering machines and traditional hand soldering. When some components still need to be physically soldered in place, our experienced team is here to complete the job.
Box Build
Increasingly, OEMs are turning to TCE to provide turnkey integration solutions. TCE supports its assembly & box build services with a team of professionals who ensure that every product shipped directly from TCE facilities meets every customer’s stringent order fulfillment and logistics demands. Box builds can be as simple as a container for a Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) or an entire cabinet of complex wire connections TCE also provides order fulfillment services including direct order processing, pick & pack and full product configuration.
TCE can process wires, assemble harnesses, and build PCBAs at one facility. This distinction provides us with the unique opportunity to put together electromechanical assemblies, or box builds, for a turnkey application. Using one partner for a turnkey application has lessened paper trails, contact lists, potential conflict points and worries. With their supply chain simplified, customers can focus on their own core business.
